Awkwafina
Awkwafina has been described as an American actor and musician from the United States who was first noticed for her clever raps that delved into racial as well as sexuality from a boldly comic perspective. Her career then grew to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Korean immigrants living in Forest Hills Queens. Her first encounter with music was through the instrument of trumpet. Jazz, classical and hip-hop training began as she was in her teens. While in college, she took classes in journalism and women's studies. Then, she even had some time learning Mandarin at the University of Beijing. It wasn't until she began focusing on music until the time she graduated. After making headlines through the Internet, her song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually became a part of her first album Yellow Ranger. The album featured other viral hits like the body-positive Queef as well as the wink-inducing hometown tour NYC BitcheUSD. This track was also used in Awkwafina's NYC tour guide that was released in the year 2015. She decided to pursue acting careers following her completion of two endeavors, author and musician. Alongside early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk she appeared in films like Neighbors 2. Storks and Bad Rap. The actress made headlines in 2018 and appeared in several notable films like Dude Ocean's Eight and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP came out in June.
